So, I thought summer was supposed to be relaxing. Reading books on the porch swing, sleeping in, lazy days at the lake. That so does NOT even come close to describing my summer thus far. How about scorching heat and baseball games, frantic running from one activity to another, absolute chaos in our house. It all started off calmly enough, and then it seems to have all hit at once. And there hasn't been a day yet where we could just relax, or maybe there has and I just can't remember because my brain is so fried!
Not that we aren't having fun, but we always seem to be "going" somewhere pr "doing" something. My kids have not yet learned to appreciate silence, or apparently early bedtimes. Here's a few miscellaneous pics from the last month or so.
